Scope of Work: SentinelOne Resale Services
Overview
At EDR for Home (edrforhome.com), our primary service is the resale of SentinelOne Control SKU licenses. We specialize in providing straightforward access to SentinelOne’s endpoint detection and response (EDR) software for individual users and small-scale deployments, starting from as few as one device. Our business model emphasizes simplicity: we handle software licensing and grant access to the SentinelOne web console. This Scope of Work outlines the exact services we provide, along with important limitations, support details, and legal disclaimers.
We do not offer comprehensive IT support, managed services, or ongoing monitoring. Our role is limited to facilitating your purchase and initial setup of SentinelOne licenses. By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
Services Provided
-Software Licensing: We resell official SentinelOne Control SKU licenses directly to end-users. Licenses can be purchased for one or more devices, with no minimum quantity required.
-Management of Access: Upon purchase, we will provision your access to the SentinelOne web console upon request. This includes setting up your account credentials and ensuring initial connectivity to the SentinelOne platform.
-Basic Installation/Uninstallation Assistance: Limited remote support is available solely for the initial installation or uninstallation of the SentinelOne software on your device(s). This support is scheduled via our Microsoft 365 Bookings page (Book time with EDR For Home Support: 30 minute meeting). Sessions are time-limited and subject to availability.
All services are provided on a best-effort basis and are intended for users who are comfortable managing their own EDR configurations after initial setup.
Limitations and Exclusions
-No Ongoing Support: We do not provide troubleshooting, configuration advice, threat response, or any form of managed security services beyond the initial install/uninstall. Any issues arising from software use, compatibility, or performance must be addressed through self-help resources.
-No Guarantees of Performance: SentinelOne software is provided “as is.” We make no representations or warranties regarding its effectiveness, reliability, or suitability for your specific needs. Use of the software is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any data loss, system damage, or security incidents that may occur.
-Device Compatibility: It is your responsibility to ensure your devices meet SentinelOne’s system requirements. We do not perform compatibility checks or hardware assessments.
-No Refunds or Exchanges: All sales are final. Refunds may only be issued in accordance with SentinelOne’s licensing policies and at our discretion.
Support Details
Support is strictly limited to install/uninstall assistance and is available only through scheduled bookings. We aim to respond to booking requests within 1-2 business days, but availability is not guaranteed. If you require more extensive help, we recommend consulting a professional IT service provider.
For any questions about your license or console access, please email us at support@edrforhome.com. Response times may vary.
